mmm. cimorene111's frodo/sam recs last night made me happy. in a warm and fuzzy kind of way. i think i'd even read one of them before... in those days way back when frodo/sam was all i read. definitely conjures a sense of nostalgia. mmm. snuggly.

i have just been struck dumb here by thoughts of the impending movie. ::silence:: my stress culminates on and then dissipates after this sunday. and directly following that, we leave for new york and trilogy tuesday. i cannot fathom this.

i have more blither to blither but no time. but i <3 you all.

ok, well, huh. i wrote a wretched draft of the wretched letter and sent it off to be made prettier by other people. this means... well, i'm almost done with my big bad application.

-cover letter - awaits editing.
-resume - spiffed.
-recommendations - secured, at least one already mailed (though i should call the old guy and double check).
-video - started. i need to work on that some more tomorrow.

which means holyfuckingshit i might actually be able to send this off tomorrow as was my plan. ::has heart attack:: ::dies::

::revives:: right, so. doing some yoga now to try to calm the nerves and prep for the voice lesson. after the lesson, it's off east once again for a rehearsal and a night at my parents' house. and then home tomorrow to (hopefully) finish the application and the program notes for sunday. ::deep breaths::
