“You make it sound so glamorous.” Willow smiles. “Still, if i had had real training… there were some things I probably wouldn’t have done, some time I would have saved…”

“You’re thinking of her aren’t you?” Hermione asks, smoothing Willow’s hair.

“Yes.”

“Do you ever… Could you, ever… think of me?”

“Yes.”

the whole buffy-hp thing, all their similarities and all... they just fit so well together. i mean, willow and hermione? i love how they're the brainy sidekicks but so different in what they do with that. willow starting out all meek and hermione being so bold and brave.

i think of the similarities between w/t and s/r all the time and it's one reason i'm so bothered by scott's refusal to read the hp books. we could bond! we share doomed otps!

but yes. that idea, of who would be an acceptable person to come next, sticks in my head. i don't have the kennedy problem that so many did, but i don't think she's the one for willow. tara was. but the one that could make her as happy as possible while not being tara? i don't know. but hermione seems like a good option. :) like viggo.
