so, i'm curious. who are your fandom sluts? by that, i mean who are the characters you read/write in myriad pairings?

i think my hp slut is our dear harry himself. i read harry/ron, harry/draco, harry/dean, harry/snape, harry/twins, harry/oliver (eta: and harry/neville of course!)... etc. he's just so versatile. *g*

and lotrips... karl? i think karl. karggo get special doobie hearts from me (esp as written by cim) but i also enjoy the karl/orli, karl/billy, karl/dom. yes. the pretty mix and match well.

and no, i can't read just anyone in all different pairings. can you?

Harry is mine for HP, too. I'm more interested in some pairings than others - more Harry/any-other-Gryffindor-boy, less Harry/Draco - though I will read it all. I wonder if that's just because he's not part of an OTP-fixation for me, or is it something intrinsic to his character?

I don't have one in LOTR (fps). I focus on hobbits and I simply can't read them with other species. Though I have just realized I will read the hobbits in any combination, so I guess I see them as a cute group of hobbit!sluts.

ahahaha. yeah, i'm with you there - not so much into the interspecies stuff. well, no, elf/man is ok. just don't touch the little people, k? i can't really do the hobbits in any combe myself. i have such a hardcore OTP for frodo/sam that it really has to be f/s, m/p for me. reading frodo or sam with anyone else makes me too sad. *g*

haha, yes! I think it's the big/little thing that squicks me. Though Legolas/Gimli doesn't squick, I just don't find it interesting.

Merry/Pippin is my hobbit OTP, Frodo/Sam is nice but I think I don't feel the need for fic since it's so canon. I'll read them in different combos when it still leads to the correct pairings in the end, like strangerian's fics. So most hobbit sex is ok, but love is limited - I guess I'm not as open minded as I thought!
