so, i'm curious. who are your fandom sluts? by that, i mean who are the characters you read/write in myriad pairings?

i think my hp slut is our dear harry himself. i read harry/ron, harry/draco, harry/dean, harry/snape, harry/twins, harry/oliver (eta: and harry/neville of course!)... etc. he's just so versatile. *g*

and lotrips... karl? i think karl. karggo get special doobie hearts from me (esp as written by cim) but i also enjoy the karl/orli, karl/billy, karl/dom. yes. the pretty mix and match well.

and no, i can't read just anyone in all different pairings. can you?

Mulder is a major fandom slut for me. I read him in so many pairings. Mulder/Krycek, Mulder/Skinner, Mulder/Scully, Mulder/TLG, Mulder/Spender... etc.

Also, Tom Paris is another one of mine. Paris/Tuvok, Paris/Janeway, Paris/Harry, Paris/Chakotay, Paris/Doctor, once I even read Paris/Picard.

As far as Harry Potter goes, I'm going to go with Snape. I'll read Snape in any pairings. Snape/Harry, Snape/McGonagal, Snape/Draco, Snape/Lucius, Snape/Anyone really.

I don't write Snape, though. The person I do write in like, every single pairing is Ginny. I will happily write Ginny/Anyone. Ginny is a slut, yup.

Speaking of Tom Paris, I believe there was a time, many years ago, when he was known as Internet Slut. I've also read Paris/Luke Skywalker.

Hmmmm. My fandom slut would have to be Remus. My OTP is Sirius/Remus, of course, but I've also read/written Harry/Remus, Regulus Black/Remus, and James/Remus.

As for Harry being your fandom slut . . . I could relate a long and not-very-interesting story from my freshman year of high school, where my friend and I, in a brief but scarring 'alliteration obsession' dubbed Harry 'Harry the Whore', but I won't. Either away, most amusing.

My HP fandom slut is definitely Ginny, probably because she's still so much of a blank slate, even given her sudden appearance of a personality in OotP. I've written Ginny/Hermione, Ginny/Harry, and Ginny/Tonks, and hinted at Ginny/Tom and Ginny/Blaise, and I've read her with a multitude of partners including Draco, Ron, and Pansy. Everything works!

I can read Harry in a lot of different pairings, but I have trouble writing him with anyone other than Draco, because that's the dynamic I enjoy the most. But it's always interesting to see how people fit him with other partners, to see what sort of traits they emphasize, what aspects of the relationship they draw out. He is, indeed, eminently slashable. :D

I'm kinda... picky about characters, but not about pairings. There are certain characters I'll read in just about any combination, but others I simply won't. Like, I'll read Viggo, Orli, Dom, Karl (and Mir, obviously, heh) in just about any permutation. And write 'em.

I'm still developing my HP habits, but I think I'm heading in a similar direction. Draco - he can shag anything he likes, baby. Harry's good, we like Harry. Ginny - whaheyhey! But for now, I'm really almost exclusively focussed on those three. (I'm having a brief muse-flirtation with Snape, but teacher/student squicks me bigtime unless properly handled, and I don't know that I have the thingummy to handle it properly.) Mind you, Hermione, also cool. She can shag Draco too. Yep.

So I guess Draco's my slut.

I don't have one in LOTR (fps). I focus on hobbits and I simply can't read them with other species. Though I have just realized I will read the hobbits in any combination, so I guess I see them as a cute group of hobbit!sluts.

haha, yes! I think it's the big/little thing that squicks me. Though Legolas/Gimli doesn't squick, I just don't find it interesting.

Merry/Pippin is my hobbit OTP, Frodo/Sam is nice but I think I don't feel the need for fic since it's so canon. I'll read them in different combos when it still leads to the correct pairings in the end, like strangerian's fics. So most hobbit sex is ok, but love is limited - I guess I'm not as open minded as I thought!

In HP? Harry, as I don't OTP for him at all. I've read and written Hermione with a number of people, though I tend toward Ron/Hermione OTPing, and Remus, well, I'll let Remus shag just about anyone he wants to, as long as it makes him happy. *g*

hehe. i think orli is many people's slut. yes. actually, i find the lotrips guys mix and match pretty well. you can just make up their personal dynamics. whereas hp has all kinds of issues. but harry's issues make him a great one to pair with just about anyone.
