omg, like, hi. i'm back now. i can read and write and everything YAY!

what fic did i miss this week? tell me! surely there were new chapters of trade, yis? must read. how 'bout willysunny's xover? hm?

ok, so, now that i'm back, what do i need to tell you...

-this past weekend was a reunion of my college a cappella group. weird. not bad, not great. mostly weird with some nice parts. the big problem was that not enough people came to make it as exciting as it could have been. but the current members of the group kick ass and knowing that makes me happy.

-i also saw harry and the potters perform and OMG! my face hurt from smiling. and they actually kind of made me cry a little. they were HILARIOUS. i highly recommend seeing them if ever you should get the chance.

-er. other stuff. i don't know how to say it all. basically, i need a life overhaul. i need to eat and exercise and just generally approach the world differently from how i have been. this is frustrating and difficult but i'm glad i'm finally getting the message.

-i got an assistantship!!! CU will pay my tuition and give me a stipend and i will assist one of the profs in directing her chorus. i am to be thinking of a piece i would like to conduct with them in the current semester! eep!

-computer still having issues. i'm watching the clock, hoping to get this done before the battery dies.

-i think i will now go work on the all souls' day commentary, since 2 people were interested and that's enough for me.

could someone who has done this fic commentary thingy link me to one of hers? i'm curious to see format and such and i'm afraid that mine might be at bit boring the way i'm doing it.

we just watched the lost rerun and really obvious things that i can't believe i missed last time occurred to me. see, it's actually fun being this dense. tonight would have been much more boring if i'd realized all this months ago.

i think i'm going to have me some tea and catch up on trade. and then go to bed and read three junes! just bc i can! and bc i'm 50 pages from the end and omg! who is richard?!?!?!

oh, and fun cooking tip of the evening: when the recipe calls for sherry, use sherry. even when you have chinese cooking wine and the recipe is chinese, if it says sherry, use sherry. yis.
