i will see katie the wonderstylist again today. i went on tuesday for the aforementioned blue streaks but things did not go quite as planned. no. she bleached the streaks and then put the blue dye on them and i sat under a drier forever and then... i had bright green streaks. i was amused, katie was distraught. she put something called 'blue kicker' in my hair, which toned town the green and made it into more of a dark turquoise-y color. but neither of us were satisfied. i had to run to class but made another appointment for today. katie knows what i want - bright, cobalt blue streaks - and she's determined that she can do it. here's hoping.
