(no subject)

mmm. last night was really pleasant and cozy. some sweets and snacks and gift exchanges with my favorite northamptonites (and columbus... onian?). annelarissa, scottxwl, starbuckle and hominidj were here and there was mulled wine and spiced rum with 'silk' nog and general warm niceness. and it was sooooo wonderful to see hominidj and harrimad_sol yesterday. i have missed them so.

tonight rach and i will have our gift exchange and quiet time together before we head off on our voyage around the state. wednesday, i'll go right to church for the 5 and 7 o'clock services and then we, along with starbuckle, hominidj, powerfulkatrina and her boy will go to my parents' house. harrimad_sol will join us on thursday. friday, rach and i will drive 4 hours to her mother's house. we'll come home saturday and then i'm off east again for church sunday morning. whew. i'm really looking forward to christmas though, even if i'm still largely screwed in the present department. alas.

oh thank goodness. i hope you all got the message from the president that even though our threat level is way high, we should definitely keep shopping. that's a relief.
