i would have been writing this post earlier, but i read addictedkitten's entry this morning. yeah, so i've been here a while. ;)

i made 'breakfast rice' this morning. it was one of the three recipes from the cookbook that we opened to this week. this is fun stuff. to me anyway. we're writing our comments on the recipes too. hee. ( this week's recipes )

am listening to a recording of a coro allegro concert for which ruth cunningham was a soloist and i'm drooling all over the place. i want her voice! for me. all for me. and then i could sing to myself all the time and how great would that be? i suppose in the ultimate ideal world, i would have emma kirkby's voice. but, you know, i'm trying to be reasonable.

am drinking tea and writing smut. this makes up for the $15 i will lose due to my voice student's illness this evening. tea. smut. goood.
