woohoo! i'm in the living room!

and i can use a client on this computer! life is good.

hot buttered rum, however, is disgusting. ok, maybe not, but the sad excuse for it that i whipped up tonight was disgusting. alas.

also, the muppets? really great and funny and fun for the most part but what was with the weird sexual-ness of so much of it? scooter in the dance cage? and the offensive man on the phone bit? why?

wrote some harry/ron today. a companion ficlet to jenny's. will post after she's finished telling me how to make it better.

hmm. whoa. it's way later than i thought it was. guess i ought to get to bed. ::yawn:: maybe i'll go read some of cimorene111's tolkien slash first. m'in the mood. hmm. yes, maybe. or... yes.

i'm not doing anything i said i was going to do. i'm still up. and i'm not reading tolkien slash. no, i'm thinking hermione/fleur. ever read any? would be good, no? hmm....

weird having the computer and the tv in the same room. i don't think i can sustain this for long. sad lack of ability to concentrate. also, tired. bed. right.

rambling and some fic

i wrote a companion piece to starbuckle's ron/harry drabble that she posted in hpdrabble thursday. same night, harry's pov. if you're interested, you should read hers first. and then mine, called Not For Him. a bit on the angsty/schmoopy side, maybe, but i don't know that i could - or would want to - do it any other way. huge kisses to starbuckle for the bunny, the beta (dude, keeping down to 650 words ain't easy) and her own fabulous fic!

hmm. it's weird around here in lj-land with silence from harrimad_sol, scottxwl, camillafarfalla and hominidj. ok, well, for hominidj it's not that unusual, but along with everyone else it adds to the strangeness.

so. today. have to go to the church so rach and i can get our picture taken for the photo directory. lalala. poor rach. heh. judy wants us to so some shopping with her. which we'll probably do, since it's no longer officially buy nothing day. all i really want to do is play with my laptop and it's new high speed connection. the possibilities seem endless!!!

a better i dea would probably be to spend good, vacation time with my sweetie. yes. this toy will still be here when she's back at work.

i don't feel good. meh. sore throat. sore everywhere. and oh so tired. i can half blame myself - for staying up late. but i did get plenty of sleep... just later than usual. whatever, i don't really care why i don't feel good, just that i don't.

we had our picture taken at church. only it was foofier than that. professional photographers and all. we totally couldn't behave ourselves. we giggled through the whole process. nobody seemed to understand what was so funny and that just made us laugh more. i'm 27, yes, but i'm just not at the family portrait stage yet. maybe i never will be, i don't know. on ne sait jamais.

harry/ron won't go away today. running around in my head constantly. and they're quite welcome to be there, really. hmm. draco is peering sullenly around this little box in which i'm typing from his place on my desk top. don't worry, baby. ::pets draco:: you'll get yours. but don't you think poor ron deserves a little somethinsomethin every now and then? well no, you probably don't, as you're evil and all. oh sorry, right, tortured. but anyway i do, and that's what really matters here, isn't it?

perhaps it is time for me to put down the computer... at least until i cease having imaginary conversations with pictures on my desktop. yes.
