yoga issues

for some reason, i can never go from downward facing dog into a right leg forward lunge. it's like my leg's too long and doesn't fit under me. i suppose it's more likely that i have bad form. alas. heheh. i always love at the end of this yoga tape when we get to 'twisted sage pose.' heh. that rodney yee, he's such a card.

rach is off to the northeastern open house today. i hope she has fun. ::twists hands:: i'm so frickin excited for her.

there is snow predicted for today. again! i love snow. still, even in march. but, please no more on thursdays. especially thursdays when i have lunch plans with camilla and i'll need to drive to the burbs for rehearsal.

addictedkitten posted a slew of ficbits. the most exciting to me is the separate peace gene/phineas. it's soooo perfect. ::loves::

Snow today! YAY! I have friends coming into town (via train) and would LOVE to have school cancelled tomorrow!! (I teach, am not IN high school!) Anyways, I work in the 'ville, and you're a friend of wax_jism's too, so I hope you don't mind me commenting here!

yes! that's so funny that you would know that. of course you do. we are one. it's the best yoga to do before a voice lesson, i have found.

oh, dude, no need to hide from me. i'm afraid if i try to really sing, i'll discover my voice has up and left me. i haven't practiced in months and i couldn't dream of paying for lessons right now. :( but back when i was taking them, the yoga was SO much help. my lovely teacher, jayne, could tell in about 2 minutes whether i had done it or not. she thought it made a huge difference in my breathing and my focus. yay yoga!
