turns out this is house cleaning day. came on just like that, with no warning. now we have a clean kitchen floor! it's practically a different color.

still musing over the fact that scottxwl used the word 'enigma' to describe me. ::chuckle:: i feel like i am as open a book as there could be. ask me and i'll tell you just about anything. yup. he, however, is a mystery to me. always has been. hmmm. i think we are people who respond to the world in very different ways. perhaps that is why we are befuddled by each other. but, really, perhaps we are not as different as it once seemed.

am looking forward to tomorrow - a day mostly to myself. i have to go to my parents to check on the kitties since they are away. thus i plan to make good use of the cable modem to catch up on slash lists - s/r and lotr rps... and troll around looking for anything worth reading. have not had the time for this since coming home. ::sigh::

hmmm, strange that two people who find each other so enigmatic could be so close to another person who finds neither of them particularly enigmatic.

What I think I meant by it, (why I wrote it without being fully aware of what I meant by it is a puzzle to me) is this: you and I have had very little direct contact over the last, say, 12 years. All my knowledge of you is from other people who DO have a direct connection to you. This creates such an incomplete picture in my head, that...well, I just don't know. I could go on about this some more, but it's 7:47 am and I have my own journal entry to write by 8am. (If I want to be ready to go to work on time.) This will probably be a lingering conversation anyways.
