i woke up feeling very sirius/remus this morning. don't know exactly why... though i suppose it could have something to do with reading the latest ToS chapter before bed last night. what? up til almost 3? nah, not me. it could also be the grey melancholy that is the weather. it's all rainy and blustery. rather a nice day to stay in with some tea and a book. but, no, not for me. i have church. ::sigh::

the extended version of fotr... i'm in love with it. i want to marry it and have its babies. i thought the movie was amazing before. little did i know. ... words are failing me so i just won't bother to say more.

the drive home last night was shitty. snow and sleet made for driving about 40 mph along the mass pike. somewhere around the halfway point, it turned to rain and it wasn't so bad. and it was well worth it to see folks out west. and, much as i love my laptop, scottxwl's tv is far superior for dvd viewing. i just wish i could have been out there longer. so lovely to see harrimad_sol. and soulstorage too. and cimorene111 looks mad cute in braids, yo.

today's church theme: "Otherwise" … and other grateful verses. it's our thanksgiving service, a little early. the choir will sing its rousing rendition let us break bread together. the minister will blither on in an aimless and extremely boring fashion.

i was pretty worried about you driving in the muck last night -- glad you got home safely. cimorene111 and i were doing about 25mph the whole way to amherst. feh. it was slippery.
