first of all,
secondly,
i took a lot of little videos. especially of cobra starship. i just kept thinking that i wanted
inkjunket to hear their silly banter v.denver. so. you get to hear it too, if you so desire.
the cab
this is... a song of theirs (70s song says
shoemaser). :) i don't know any of their songs, feel free to fill me in. and check out baby ray toro's cute little hat. [link]
and then baby ray toro gets to do his thing - do you suppose he's wearing the hat to look less like ray toro? [link]
and then they covered i'll be. and everyone in the 21+ section kind of went "um... really?" and then the guys behinds us started cracking up and pointed out the lyrics [link] -
yes. "i'll be better when i'm older." um. probably true.
we the kings
here are we the kings singing... one of their songs (seventeen forever,
shoemaster tells me). again with the no clue. [link]
i don't think this video represents them well. i'd say most of their songs were more fun than this one but i didn't know to anticipate that at the time. :)
metro station
another song i don't know. with a nice clear shot of the floppy, emo-haired guitarist/vocalist who is what? billy ray cyrus's kid? [link]
cobra starship
and then cobra took the stage and the fans threw their fangs up and there was awesomeness. and the city is at war. [link]
next up was send my love to the dance floor. here's the beginning of that. i got a little distracted by vicky t at the end. as you do. [link]
then they played keep it simple and then he told us about his friend who doesn't like the band anymore, now that they're bigger, "like i give a fuck if you like my band or not, right?" and then worked it into an intro to one day robots will cry. [link]
then they had a little moment of reminiscing about being at the venue before. "yo, gabe, you remember? i remember we were watching gym class heroes from right over there. . . holy shit we're on tour with gym class heroes! now we're on tour with cobra starship! when's it gonna stop?" and then gabe managed to work that one into an intro to kiss my sass. (aaand that video is over the 100 mb limit for youtube so we're going to try google video. i haven't figured out all the settings on my camera yet, oops.) [link]
ok, and i'm calling that part one. i have many more cobra videos but i also have, like, a job. so it'll have to wait for later.
♥ ♥ ♥ HAPPY BIRTHDAY
