i didn't mean for this to be a picture of the day. rach has been wearing all the skirts in her closet and i've been taking pictures. but it's the only picture i took that day. so... :)

the denver skyline from just around the corner from our house. i took this while walking back from the auto stuff store with my new windshield wipers. i replaced them myself and felt very proud. not that it was hard. i just hadn't done it before. and now my windshield is much cleaner.

on saturday, our errands included going to stores where rach could try on dresses for madmadharri and hominidj's wedding. she didn't buy this one, pretty as it is. she did buy another one, in which she looks incredibly hot. but you all will have to wait for the wedding to see that one.

rach's two favorite kinds of food are grilled food and breakfast food. we've been saying for years that we would one day combine these two and finally, yesterday, we grilled breakfast. french toast, hash browns and vegan non-soy sausages. very, very tasty.





um, hi. i've been absent from lj lately and i don't really know why. it probably has something to do with how FUCKING HOT it is here and how cranky and lethargic that makes me. eh. srsly. hate the heat.

right now, i'm in lovely ac in the campus center. about to head over to the library. and i just had my annual girly bits exam. that was just in no way fun. really, i think it would be difficult to have less fun that involved someone touching your boobs and cooch. excepting criminal activity, of course. ok, now i'm just getting weird. see what heat does to me? maybe not posting is a good idea.

and yum. maybe we'll come to you guys on our honeymoon instead of inuvik (or ok, vancouver - but it's like, totally closer to inuvik than boston), and then we can just hang and have grilled brekky food.

:) yeah, that is a great dress too. but you can't see in the pic that it was a weird length. the color is awesome, though.

ahaha! you're going to canada for your honeymoon? that sounds SO good to me right now. anywhere that's colder than here sounds good.

but i also think colorado would be the perfect destination for you guys. yes. mmhmm.

Not so much, no. I believe 'utterly lacking in tact' is far more accurate (based on what people tell me). Personally, I think of it as being brutally honest, but who am I to judge?

the french toast was extremely tasty. much like normal french toast but a touch smoky. mmm. sweet and smoky.
