the moon over our house. it was a perfect crescent shape, though you can't see that very well in the picture. i took this when i went outside to move my car for this morning's street sweeping and noticed the moon. it seemed like a better picture than the only other ones i had taken yesterday which were of the dying trees in front of our house - so our landlord could see them and talk to a landscaper about having them removed.

i have a busy day today. i know, what? don't die of shock on me now. first, therapy. then i'm teaching a conducting and theory lesson. and then i'm meeting riikka - either for tea or margaritas, we haven't decided yet. i'm most excited about the lesson, really. i like my student and i like the subjects. and my brain could use a little boost.

my soon-to-be voice teacher is getting back from wherever she's been tomorrow. so i should start lesson with her next week. which is very exciting. i think i still have a voice. somewhere. maybe.
