yesterday we canoed and picnicked and walked and swam to celebrate our anniversary. it was a lovely, low-key day for us.

a year ago yesterday, we got married. and now finally i've uploaded a whole bunch of pictures to share. there are many.

oh, that wedding cake was soooo good. the top and bottom layers were vanilla cake with strawberry mousse filling and the middle was chocolate cake with raspberry mousse. and it was vegan, of course!

Aw, yay, what great pictures! I love how happy and gorgeous we all look. I think my favorite pictures are the one of Rach eating the hors d'oeuvres and of hominidj and madmadharri reading during the ceremony. Everyone is so pretty! (Also, is it just me, or does Rach's brother look just a little bit like Brian Kinney? Esp. in the picture of him with his girlfriend?)

Thinking about your wedding always makes me smile. You both were (and are) so beautiful, and I just remember so many loving and warm feelings from the entire weekend. It was so special, and I was so happy to be a part of it. I love you guys!

saltycake is... nothing, really. mmm_cake loves baked good, especially cake, and i love salty things. so we just combined them. most of the other names we thought of were already taken.
