the yoga class i went to yesterday was rough. i think it was good but i have pretty terrible balance and no upper body strength to speak of. so it was... challenging. that, plus a couple hours of bowling last night for blake's gf's birthday, has left me groaning like an old lady every time i move today. i hurt. ouch.

blake brought along a bowling handbook from the 1970s. it was full of helpful tips and illustrations. here, he gives rachael some advice just before her turn while jesus looks on.
this may be the worst picture of me ever, so it seemed worth including. it's definitely among the weirdest. rach says i look like a pirate with palsy. i have no idea what inspired that face.
it's saturday! we've been to the farmer's market already this morning. we bought veggies and also had some granita (omg! first time i've found it since having it in italy!) and extremely tasty french fries. ah yes, the farmer's market. home of sugar and fried food.
