sirius/remus. angst-free.

annecatherine asked for something fluffy. no angst, she said. and then she said make it sirius/remus.

... no angst.

while most humans have bodies composed of 70% water, sirius and remus are composed of at least 98% angst.

still, she won a prize, she gets a request. that's how the game goes. and this is what i wrote:



Apology


“Sirius, is that you? What are you doing?”

“Shhhh,” Sirius said, as he crawled in through the curtains around Remus’ bed.

“What are you doing?” Remus asked again in a whisper as Sirius let himself under the covers and lay his head next to Remus’ on the pillow.

“Remember earlier? You know, before dinner…”

“Mmhmm,” said Remus, shifting onto his side so he could see Sirius’ face beside him.

“I said I was sorry…”

“I told you it’s alright,” Remus cut him off quickly, “so what are you doing here, in my bed, in the middle of the night?”

“I’m not”

“What?”

“I’m not sorry.”

“Oh.”

“I didn’t want you to be upset with me. But really I’m not sorry. I liked it. I’d do it again. If you wanted me to.”

Remus’ breathing had grown shallow. “Ok,” he whispered.

“Really?” Sirius pushed himself up on his elbow.

Remus wanted to laugh at the eager expression on Sirius’ face, but with blood rushing loudly in his ears and his limbs going suddenly cold, he could only nod slightly.

“Brilliant,” whispered Sirius as he leaned over Remus.

Remus closed his eyes and felt Sirius’ breath on his lips and then the soft press of his mouth. Sirius pulled away and returned, pressing harder, parting his lips slightly, easing his body over Remus’.

Remus sighed into Sirius’ mouth. He put one hand on the small of Sirius’ back and with the other, he touched his hair, curling his fingers into it and pulling Sirius closer.

The blankets shifted around them as they fit their bodies together, curling around each other.

“No,” Sirius said, breaking away, his face flushed and warm, “No, I’m definitely not sorry.”

Remus grinned and pulled him into another kiss.

you are quite welcome, dear. it was actually very nice to have someone tell me, 'no angst!' it freed me up to just think about the happy times, which was lovely.
