claire was in denver for most of the time i was in MA. she came over for about an hour right before i had to go and she drove me to the airport. it was a really nice hour and a half

so, after my plane got in here at 12:30 am, we had a wedding to go to yesterday morning. my friend from school, robin. it was a lovely wedding, though it seemed like the whole thing was on high speed. in and out in under 4 hours. hey, worked for me. that gave us time to stop at the vegan store for treats and then head home for a nap before going out again with blake and jen and his brother and her friend to see knocked up. which was great. all funny and mooshy and heartwarming and i enjoyed it immensely.

and this morning i have to get my shit together and get out to matt's church. yes, i'm subbing for lutherans today. could be worse.

oh, and OMG. the big news of yesterday is that friend!rachel got a job. a real job. she's headed to the u of hawaii for the coming year. that's right, hawaii. the job sounds amazing and i'm insanely happy for her about it. my rachael is counting the days until we can visit her. but then... she's leaving by the end of july. ::clings:: i want her to be successful, of course, but i'd kind of rather she did it near me, you know? poo. but yay. conflicting emotions. sigh.

Hi! I was just thinking about you yesterday when I was at Reunion. If it makes you feel any better, our headquarters dorm is Prospect. At least I don't have to stay on campus.

happy for Rachel, but I've been here long enough that I'm kind of used to people leaving. I think I'm currently on my third set of Colorado friends; there's only 2 or 3 who haven't cycled out yet.
