phineasjonesfor someone like me who is really only semi-social, this has been an exhausting day. lots of people and heat (and sunburn) and catch-up type talk. but now we've just finished dinner and there is a class party going on downstairs. and it's... so very college. alcohol and a dj in the common room of a dorm. the thought of drinking and dancing right now... wah. i'll probably go down in a bit and see who's there and all. but by now i feel like i've talked to everyone i want to talk to at least once. so it's either time to push beyond the catch-up chit chat or talk about completely superficial things. and with the dj and the drinking... yeah. just seems like it will take a lot of energy. maybe i'm wrong. maybe i should just go and see. hrm.
