made some 'mattar tofu' for dinner last night. and asparagus - that what's cooking in the special asparagus-cooking pot in the back. yes, we have a pot just for cooking asparagus. we have many single-use kitchen items. silly, i know. but... fun!

so close to the end of classes. i can feel it. today i have... a semi-lesson with sia. just getting him ready for an audition for lesson with a prof next year. and then, i have scary double therapy. by which i mean normal therapy except my normal therapist is about to have a baby so i'm going to meet replacement therapist during this session. two at once! maybe i'll instantly be cured of all my woes. and after that, one last theory class. yay! and tomorrow i just have vocal ped (which i'm only observing) and i give danny a lesson and then... DONE. yay.

see, i'm at the point where the end of the school year is the happy thing on the horizon and i'm not yet thinking about what i'll do for money in the summer. at bay, stressful thoughts!

oh right, the whole reason why i wanted to comment was YAAYYY end of classes!! but i got distracted by the beauty of the yum. so YAY for BOTH!

i have long coveted the asparagus cooker. the desire has been tempered by our tendency to cook asparagus per this recipe we got from a friend - roasted in the oven, topped with a balsamic brown butter sauce...hmmm, does vegan "butter" brown? if so, i'd be happy to share the recipe :)
