lilacs! they're just starting to bloom and i'm all a-quiver in anticipation. i love lilacs. and we have a lilac bush in our back yard! i'm so excited! i've always wanted one. ok, not always. but for about 10 years. which is close enough.

man, am i groggy this morning. but trying to just push on through. yesterday turned up some prospects for summer employment, which is exciting. apparently little scott's church choir is thinking of doing something in the summer and scott won't be around. and they like me. so... yeah, church choir is not my ideal but if i could do something music-related in the summer, i'd suck it up. so to speak. and sia, my conducting student, said he'd be interested in lessons in the summer if i'm around. and that, too, would be great. yay. if i can line up a few more things (and if scott's choir pans out) maybe i won't have to temp. ::prays to employment gods::

meh, just had a fit of perky but i'm still groggy. this doesn't bode well for the three-hour class this morning.

sorry i'm so boring. it's finals time. school eats the brain.

You'd think after enough school you'd become used to having your brain eaten, but no.
