the st. matthew's over. on the whole, it went extremely well.

on the partial, i want to kill an oboist. but. rachael says she didn't know things weren't going swimmingly from the audience. i have to believe her, i suppose.

i mean, most things did actually go swimmingly.

and, hi, i've had some gin and it's two in the morning. maybe i should just go to bed and deal with this post tomorrow. yes, probably.

Nice going! If you get a chance, catch the current From the Top on PBS. They have a little piece on oboes and oboists you might appreciate. It's a good show even if you don't catch the one with the oboists - I've listened to it on radio off and on for several years. Besides top-notch kid musicians, the host has played on some of Professor Schickele's albums, and shares some of the very cornball aspects of his humor. This particular show was the first instance I've ever seen of digital sheet music.
