i support lisa's determined wearing of springy clothes at her easter barbecue, even if she had to put on big old boots to tromp through her snowy backyard to the grill. we had a nice time at their house, though i was reminded that the smell of deviled eggs is not one that i miss.
today begins the real digging in to the st. matthew. rehearsal tonight for all the recitative with continuo. regular choir rehearsal and then piano rehearsal for all the arias tomorrow. orchestra rehearsals wednesday and friday. regular rehearsal thursday. dress rehearsal saturday morning. and performance sunday night. hoo boy. i'm cooking up a big pot of chili at the moment, so i'll have something to take along for dinners on these excessively long school days.
i want more icons with hugh in them. i'm having a hugh thing lately.
