liz and i went out for sushi after symposium last night. tasty food and good chat. and the symposium presentation went fine. phew.
this morning, i'll be teaching a voice lesson. i'm a bit nervous about this. mostly because my student is male. i've never taught a boy and their voices are, you know, different. i just hope i'll be able to help him and that i sound like i know what i'm talking about. i've observed a few people giving lessons in our vocal pedagogy seminar so far and... i think that while they are all better singers than i am, they don't tend to know how to teach necessarily. i have that part working for me. so. we'll see how this goes.
