gabby, scott and alexa displayed their extreme geekery on our tuesday starbucks run. here scott uses solfege hand symbols while alexa and gabby sing them. note that i am keeping a safe distance. :)
last night after symposium, matt, scott, liz, riikka, sean and i went out again for food and drinks. i think maybe we weren't quite as raucous as last time but still... all that laughing was probably the best abdominal workout i've had in a long time. we played some games around the table - the adverb game, i never, some weird hand-slapping game. i learned very interesting things about my colleagues, once again, which i think it would be inappropriate to share here. but, man. i love them. it's good to have drinking buddies. and even better when they're also, like, schubert mass singing buddies. :)
i'm short on time because i have therapy this morning. first meeting with the new therapist. hm. i'm not exactly nervous, but... curious. we'll see how it goes.
also today, rach comes home. yay! i've been missing my girl. <3<3<3
