the choir warm up before the concert last night. before my camera battery died. the concert went well. this was the third time i've peformed the magnificat. the best time was probably with coro allegro. the worst, with longy. so this snuggles right in the middle. though, closer to coro than longy. it's hard to evaluate objectively, though, because i'm in the kind of pms-y, grumpy state in which i never think performances are good. an unfortunate time to be in a performance, certainly.
today's rehearsal and performance are on the easter oratorio. i'm much less familiar with this one. and it's less exciting chorally. also less work chorally, so there's that.
yeah, i'm too blah to be posting. i'll come back later. <3
