i tried to get everyone at my lunch table to do paul gross arms. of course, i couldn't just say, "paul gross arms." i had to demonstrate. and then i think they took it more in spirit than in letter. christina comes closest, but she's doing a cheerleader version or something. it was good to see them all again.
yesterday was loooooooooonnnnnng. in the future, tuesdays should not be so bad. i'll have usingers and theory and symposium. which is manageable. but yesterday symposium was followed by bach festival rehearsal which was boring and interminable. oy. it's almost over, though. our concerts are on friday and saturday. then no more sunday night rehearsals in boulder, alxamdulilaah.
yeah, i got into theory only because eric chivalrously offered to switch sections so i could take his place. what a nice boy. this means i cut in front of people on the wait list but the prof let me so yay! i'm in. matt's going to be in the class too, so that should be fun. maybe not so full of chuckles as vocal ped was (this is, after all, post-tonal analysis) but still fun.
now my only quandary is whether to take conducting lessons this semester or wait for next. if i wait, my schedule would be a little lighter this semester, which would be really nice. and i could be working on my lecture recital which will be in may. but then i will have gone a whole year without lessons. ::ponders:: i really need to decide soon. hrm.
