we spent last night lazing on the couch, knitting and watching tv. not much unusual about that. stella joined us for a while. there is no way that chloe and stella won't end up taking up a significant portion of these daily pictures.

i know i haven't really been posting besides the photos for a bit. today, rach and i are occupied with birthday festivities. her birthday, that is. we had a birthday breakfast and gift-opening and a trip to boulder and now we're going to go to a store and then out to meet friends for birthday drinks. yay!

and if it's rach's birthday, it's also helenish's. happy birthday, helenish!

also, this is related to nothing but i just used a neti pot for the first time and OMG it's the best thing ever.

they scared me for a long time but there's been sort of a build-up of talk about them recently in my life and i finally decided to try one. and it was really great. like, really. it felt weird but not bad. and i felt so much better afterward that it was 100% worth it.

i didn't think i could either! but my sinuses finally compelled me to try something drastic. :) and it was amazing. i completely recommend it, if you ever feel brave enough. it's a weird sensation but it doesn't hurt or feel as gross as i thought it would.
