after reading this article (linked by minervacat in her del.icio.us), i've decided to give the photo-a-day concept a go. i'm still not at home and so haven't been able to figure out how it will work on a daily basis. whether it will work at all, really. so, my first photo-a-day post is 4 photos for 4 days. the first 4 days of this year.

also, as of today, i'm going back to public as my default posting mode. hello, world. :)

any day in new york city, even a really fun day like this one, seems to involve a great deal of map-reading and google texting and the like. mostly done by camillafarfalla.

the last of several days of bus and subway travel. we took a bus from nyc to providence. molly and john drove us from providence to south station and we took the t to revere where my dad picked us up at wonderland. this is rachael on the last leg of that trip.

yay, i'm so glad other people are doing this, too! i just uploaded all my photos from this year so far -- being computerless has been HARD! -- and i'm looking forward to seeing more of yours, phin.
