i wrote more voyeur!hermione today. yes, i did. and i liked my little story quite a bit. and just as i was writing a little header for the story so i could post it and share with you lovely folks, the computer froze. and it was gone. completely gone. the computer couldn't freeze after one paragraph, oh no. it waited for me to finish the whole stinking thing. grrr. i was what one might call "very angry." so. i will try to re-write it i think. after this post. we'll see how it goes.

the day got better after that. i took ashkitty's completed gryffindor scarf over to camillafarfalla's so we could take some pics before bringing it to the po. i just wanted a few pics of my own before i sent junior off into the big, bad world. ::sniff!:: ok, really, i'm delighted to send off the scarf, but here are the pics of myself and camilla goofing around with said scarf:

spent some time in lexington, got music, met the composer whose piece i was looking for - how serendipitous! - and came back and had a lovely evening with rach. would have been an all around good day if not for the loss of the story. alas. i will put that behind me and move on.

yay! i'm so glad you like the way it looks. yes, i'm feeling very proud - for managing to finish it on time and everything. whew.

so, the grand total - including the extra red yarn i had to get and shipping: $10! oh, now i'm all proud again for managing to do it so cheaply. *g* my head's going to swell or something.

wow. that's a really really gorgeous scarf. i remember when that scarf was merely a few inches of beauty.. how time does fly! you are quite the artiste, madame!!

aw thanks! yes, we'll all watched little scarfy grow... and now it's off in the scary world of the u.s. postal system. i hope all will be well.
