Jun. 21st, 2005 08:56 amomg, i have to write something before i forget how. when i have the brain, i will write about things like:
the recital
a day in nj with
annelarissa
the engagement party
i probably won't write about chloe's tummy trouble and how it involved our bed and how we've been sleeping in the living room these past two nights. it's just too digusting.
so, jeanne-the-add-coach-type-lady had me make a list detailing exactly what i mean when i say that i want this move to go smoothly. i call it my 'smooth move' list. heh. and yesterday rach and i sat down with the calendar to figure out when we would do all the things required by said list. whew. it's going to be a busy month. today i have to research movers on this end - rach will research the CO end, write thank you notes to all the generous gift-givers from the party, find out how much it costs to dry clean a comforter and comforter cover, decide what from the kitchen we want to put in saturday's tag sale and price those things, and pack one box of stuff. and possibly take chloe to the vet but she seems to have made it through last night ok, so we might wait on that.
oh, and figure out what classes to register for. eek. classes. omigoodness.
i warn you, this is what my posts are likely to look like for the next month. and who knows after that, man. who knows.
also, i gave rachael a french manicure last night. does that make us the femmiest femmes who ever femmed or what?

Date: 2005-06-21 02:59 pm (UTC)and it's nice to know we're not alone in dealing with this. it has been extremely gross and... yeah, i just won't go into it. i'm sure i don't need to, sadly.
thanks for you advice!

Date: 2005-06-21 08:08 pm (UTC)As for the shaving, the behavior that Elli exhibits when she is really uncomfy is lots of lying around, slight decrease in appetite and being plain old lathargic. It's usually pretty clear when she is miserable with the hotness. You should give it a try if she seems kinda hot. Darcy has much lighter fur than Eleven but he is a BIG baby when it gets hot and meows all the time so I'll probably shave him too, I may invest in a clipper myself so if you don't wanna pay for the vet to do it, let me know. They are only about $30 and I don't think I can afford to get Elli done at the vets anymore.
