rach put up pics of our house in denver here. so perdy.

and that's probably all i'll have to say for today. our recital is tonight. there's a bunch of work left to do. but i think, based on our recital last night, that we're in good shape. which is a relief because i really didn't sing the whole time we were away and i was afraid i'd have no voice. but we made it through the whole program and then some. so, good.

the first recital was good but this one means a bit more to me. because we put it together entirely on our own. and it turned out to be quite a lot of work. but we did it and i'm so proud of us both. and with both of us leaving noho within the month, this feels like a bit of a farewell. which is sad to think about but at the same time, i'm glad to be doing it, to be giving something of myself to my friends before i go.

I actually *gasped* when I saw these pics. The floors! Nooks and crannies! Sunlight and oh, the patio and grass. Oh wow. Guys, it's beautiful. It makes the thought of your being so far away a *teeny* bit more palatable, knowing this will be your home. Mrphhhgh. Love you both.

Phin, I'll be thinking of you tonight as I lie stuck with pins (acupuncture, not some weird new hobby) - I tried to reschedule but couldn't. Makes me sick to miss it, but I'm sending lots of <3 and flowers and will see you and Cake soon!

Your house is adorable! It's a lot like my lil cottage except with two stories and a back yard that has actual grass.

I hope you like Colorado. My one visit there was a horrible experience (when my sister-in-law died) but that wasn't the state's fault. :-) It really is very beautiful, and perfect if you're an outdoorsy type. If you're not, you'll become one!
