soft vs. hard

i have to wonder if people actually know what the soft palate is when they refer to it in the context of a kiss. because if someone, in the course of kissing me, were to touch my soft palate with her tongue, i would be compelled to gag and say something to the effect of oh my god, get your nasty, 10 inch long tongue the fuck out of my mouth and don't ever try that shit again. then if there were any reason i felt compelled to kiss this person again, we might first discuss anatomy and how, if you simply must use that much tongue (i'm a fan of much sparser use of tongue myself) you may, occasionally, touch the hard palate. but never the soft. that's disgusting as well as nearly impossible.
