oh the goodness of watching buffy and smallville with monkey. we made the futon into a bed so she could lie on it and watch tv with her prism glasses. pretty cool. and we eeewwwwwed together over buffy and squeaked over the silly angst of smallville. it was good times.

roasted carrots are tasty things indeed. this is something i learned for myself tonight. visually appealing as well. martha would approve. tomorrow, i think i shall attempt to roast some beets.

so, i was all without job prospects a mere week ago and now i have an application in for an admin job at a music school, an interview for a music teaching job and a lead on a part time admin at this social justice interfaith group thingy. these are all delightful prospects. could it be that things are looking up? i daren't get too excited lest it should all fall away. on vera.

am still tired. have dishes to wash. really want to read more origins. and catch up on thehandbasket fics. ah, my busy schedule. oh right, and i have to get some sleep. right.
