omg, this is driving me CRAZY! i can't remember an hp character's name! the weird, pointless draco double from OotP. wtf is his name? i feel that i should just remember and not have to look, so i'm not looking. but if one of you were to tell me... that would be ok.

Zacharias Smith was so not a pointless Draco double. He was fanon Draco. JK, who I imagine tries not to indulge in too many novel-length H/D soap operas, couldn't possibly know that's what the fans have transformed the imaginary Draco in their collective head into. So when she created a clever, snarky and Harry-baiting character, little did she know we'd find him curiously familiar...
