since i'm no longer in rehearsal on tuesday nights, i could go with [livejournal.com profile] mmm_cake to her gilmore girls-watching & crafting evening at her friends' house.

i haven't watched in a long time (due to rehearsals) but i've been keeping up with the main events.

well. i didn't love this episode. logan still bugs me. rory seemed totally ooc to me at the beginning of her internship, all buffoon-ish and playing for laughs. and then, the grandparents were humorous, i suppose, but i hate watching people makes asses of themselves. which means i also hated the lorelei part at the end. that was bad mom behavior right there and while i appreciate lorelei having some character complexity, i don't like watching it.

also, gilmore girls is on of the worst offenders for preview not matching show. the scene in the car? where was that? and that makes me sad for next week because the preview... omg! but i doubt we'll get what it's hinting at.

sigh.

what about lorelei at the end? the whole traveling inn consultant job, or am I forgetting something. I also didn't love the ep and really don't like logan (and also haven't been watching this year but have been keeping up), but the dinner with logan made me squirm! it was almost reminiscent of watching "welcome to the dollhouse" (though, of course, far less intense) in it's uncomfortable factor!

oh, whoops, not the very end. the part after logan and rory left dinner and she ratted logan out. not cool, mom.
