we have no bread. this makes lunch so much more difficult. do i really cook? or do i throw together something semi-prepackaged - easy but usually unsatisfying. maybe beans and rice is the way to go. usually is, after all.

the staff meeting this morning was two hours long. we discussed music for approximately 10 minutes toward the end. i strongly feel that this is not good use of my time. and that the minister is a bitch and a half. on the up side, the town where the church lives is absolutely gorgeous right now. trees are just starting to turn so there are sudden, bright bursts of orange here and there. and it's another perfect day, cool and sunny.

and i'm sleepy. when will i learn? staying up is not inherently bad. staying up late and getting up early (well, 7ish) is a rather stupid plan in the long run.

but! i got the car inspected. yay! rather important item to knock off the to-do list.

mcee is the cutest thing right now. even from over here outside the loop, i can't but help feeling all happy for her. you should too.
