is that a pairing that has any kind of real following or is it the bastard stepchild of s/r? i still recall my deep horror at encountering it for the first time on jaykay's website.

i think in hp, every imaginable pairing has a following. but that does not mean it is not the bastard stephild of s/r, which, to be remotely convincing, i think it would have to be.

however, i was not joking that i was hankering to read some. i have a thing (in my head, since i have rarely, if ever, seen it done the way i want) for post-war remus/someone healing-type fics. one day, maybe in the not too distant future (since it was my birthday gift for last year), [livejournal.com profile] jjtaylor will give one to the world in the form of remus/bran. i am so excited for that, i could pee. in the meantime, i sometimes want to read it as remus/harry. but i have yet to read one that i would actually call good... or plausible... or satisfying. alas.

At the time I was saw your entry, I was waiting on an HP/RL piece of mine to be proofread. It's finally posted here, if you're interested. (http://www.livejournal.com/users/ac1d6urn/35473.html#cutid1)

Also, have you seen Switchknife's Night Closed My Windows (http://glassesreflect.net/hother/nightclosedmywindows.html)?

I remember reading His Blue-Eyed Problem by Dr. Zosfmov (RL/SB and RL/HP as a main pairing) but right now it seems to be gone from the archives. If you want a copy, I'll send it to you. I think it's the longest story I've seen written for that specific pairing.

oh, thank you.

your story is brutal - really, both of these are. it's a fascinating idea and quite a bit creepy. but very well done. ::shivers::

and i think maybe i had read that switchknife story a while ago but i had forgotten it. ouch.

Ah, thank you for taking a look at it.

I just recently discovered Switchknife's writing and was fascinated by complexity and, at the same time, simplicity of it.

Good HP/RL is hard to find. The only other story I recall that dealt with it was Green Lights by UnderLucius. It wasn't the main pairing, but it described the relationship well.
