phineasjoneshello friends list!
i am positively swimming in mellow cheer right at this moment. i have a soy latte from the foofy restaurant downstairs at this foofy hotel and i can look out the foofy window right next to me and see some overlarge businesses (omg, everything is HUGE here), a highway, lots of dry grass, some depressing houses and then MOUNTAINS!
yesterday we had a leisurely morning and then went and walked around downtown boulder. so cute. we went to this paper store and i decided i would be ok living in a city with these paper products. yis. then we went to rach's friend b's house for a bit and then on to denver where we met some very nice grads of rach's program who basically volunteered to find her work and us a place to live. and they bought us beer and food. crazy. and then back to boulder so we could take friend!rachel out to dinner. and that was our day. ::sigh::
i'm glad to be going home today. i miss the cats and i feel excited to get back to the other parts of my life that i haven't been giving much of any attention to for months now.
