scottxwl's assessment of what would happen if i brought rachael to his house to watch buffy and we made out during the commercials:

It would be kinda weird, though, if you two just started making out during every commercial. And then, because I would be babbly-drunk, I would end up trying to make some sort of joke, and it would come out as inappropriate, and it would get awkwardly quiet for the rest of the evening, and everyone would leave as soon as the episode was over, and then our friendship would fizzle out, you'd try to be understanding that I'm just socially awkward, but Rachel wouldn't feel comfortable coming over anymore, and you, deep down, would agree with her. And that would be it.

::sniff:: Why do you want to do this to us, Phineas?! What's wrong with you?

The kiss lasted longer than either of them expected. Phineas rested her forehead against Rachel's and took a deep inhale, realizing she hadn't been breathing.

"Sweetheart?"

"Yeah?"

"Uh, when did the light's go out?"

"What?! Waitasec, where'd everyone go? Hell, where'd that disco-ball come from?!"

"Honey, I think Scott's filming us."

"SCOTT?! What the fuck do you think you're doing?!"

"Ssh. Please, you two are totally ruining the mood. Harrimad and Courtney will be back in a sec in their gladiator outfits. Just play along with the scene."

We've got a new thing going on here. What should we call it? Phineas-Rachel slash? LJ slash? This could be the birth of a whole new... something.
