just a tiny moment here to congratulate my own brain. i will not tell anyone else what sirius and remus should look like to them. many people - to put it mildly - have embraced david thewlis and gary oldman as remus and sirius. more power to 'em. if it works for them, lovely.

the brain congratulations comes as a result of realizing that sirius and remus in my head still don't look like thewlis and oldman, after the movies, the photo manips, the icons... etc. my brain has taken care of them as i knew them. thank you, brain. it was my greatest fear about the movie that i would never see them the same way again. it hasn't happened. yay.

Agreed. Sirius-in-my-head looks just the way he looked when I first read Prisoner of Azkaban. Remus has changed a little, but moreso because I've spent a whole lot more time thinking about him post OotP.
