Come on, Phin, it's your own fault for staying up so late/early watching the Red Sox Games! No, really, I hope your day improves. :(

"Come on, Remus, it's been a whole hour. Get out of bed." Viggo was leaning against the door and holding two mugs of coffee.

"As good as that coffee smells - no," Remus said from under the covers.

"Are you going to stay there all day?"

"If I have to, I most certainly will." Remus rustled the covers for emphasis.

"I'll make you breakfast," Viggo offered.

Remus lifted his head halfway out from under his blanket. "What will you make?"

"Pancakes? Eggs and toast? Warm, tasty breakfast things?"

"Hmmm," Remus seemed to give it serious consideration, and then declared, "I think I'll just stay here, thanks. Under the covers. Where it's safe."

"Remus," Viggo sighed. "It was just a spider."

"Just a spider!"

"Look, I'm sorry I let it get away, but you can't very well stay in bed all day hiding from it." Remus didn't answer. "Very well, I'll just go make warm, tasty breakfast things for myself."

(to be continued, if Remus ever gets out of bed....)

::glee!!!::

yay! remus is afraid of spiders. the cuteness!!!! ::happy sigh::

i don't know if it will inspire remus, but my plan (after overloading on angel) is to do the dishes and then try to make a lip balm for my poor lip-chapped sweetie.

me too with the addition of stabbing stomach pains.

hey, i lost your comment about how my ineptitude with your comments system was cute. uh, thanks. cough. heh, that just made me smile. around the stabbing pain. I HATE STABBING PAIN.

and wax is a pragmatist. she thinks sympathy is illogical. my widdle spock. 'your stomach is sick all the time,' she says thoughtfully, musingly, as i topple sideways onto the couch and whimper. 'have you had it checked? cause you know, who knows what it could be.' with a meaningful raise of the eyebrows. 'do you have chicken broth in finland?' i say weakly. her expression suggests that she thinks this conversation bids fair to be both illogical and boring. 'i don't know. what kind do you mean.'

i dunno, i guess it was anxiety related. the nutritionists and doctors at school thought it was ibs or related and, well, i mostly know what to do. lots of bland, no spicy, not too much of the same thing all the time, not too much fat. the less processing the better. the thing is i'm not willing to eat quite that boringly. anyway, pepto bismol + peppermint tea got rid of it.

i told her in bouillon cubes or a can'd be fine and she came back with cubes plus instant soup cups--little packets of powder that you pour water over, which we have in america but i've never been into that much, only these were REALLY good. i don't know what the magic ingredients were. maybe 'herbs.' or leeks. or cauliflower.
