this morning i got to that uploading of farm pictures i talked about last night. so, here are some pictures of [livejournal.com profile] starbuckle, [livejournal.com profile] mmm_cake, me and the beautiful farm in the fall.

a sample:

look at the kale! the beautiful kale! ahhh. and the trees! ::swoons::

me in the herb garden. this is a weird picture but i love the way jenny is wee and sort of floating in the background.

me picking sage. !!! which i will put in some pumpkin risotto this weekend.

jenny with her nose in the herb bag. mmmrosemary. (trees!!!)

rachael picking raspberries. i never realized they grew so late. i don't like them anyway but it's interesting to know.

me and jenny and god-like rays of sun.

me and my girl. let's ignore my hair in this photo and concentrate on the lurve, shall we? and also the trees!!!

this is the wee barn where we pick up our already-harvested veggies. ahh. only a few more weeks of farmy goodness. how sad.

i hope you have enjoyed this morning's picture show. ♥

Lovely pictures, and it looks like a beautiful farm. My last veggie pickup day at my CSA is this Friday -- all the eggplant and tomatoes and peppers were harvested last week, because we had a frost. This week it'll just be winter squash and onions and maybe some kale. I, too, am sad to see the farm year end. :-(

I think I need a "fall" icon. Hmm.

Wow, those trees are really amazing. (As are the people, of course.) Campus is very autumn-y here, but it's grey and brown autumn, not gorgeous colours.

grey and brown can be satisfying in that melancholy way. but, i confess, i couldn't really want to be anywhere but new england in the fall. :)

Man, I love farms and fresh herbs and veggies and plants. I want to go to that farm. ...I've always wanted to see New England in the fall, y'know. *winkwink*

Did you know the leaves don't change during a Texas autumn? It feels like early September here. I miss fall.

Oh, how beyootiful- the scenery and the girls! I thought the foliage here was beautiful, but it really pales compared to yours. You have so much red! I must make a New England pilgrimage in the Fall sometime.
