phineasjonesperhaps i will resemble my icon after another cup or two of coffee. right now, i'm more with the squinty, can't-believe-i'm-awake face.
having the doors to the rooms where our guests are staying closed seems to be upsetting stella rather a lot. all morning she's been walking up to the doors and meowing and then meowing at me and then meowing some more. god, she's cute. yesterday morning was the cutest of all. she was all freaked out that there were people staying in the apartment and she spent most of the morning borrowed under the covers with rach and me. when we got up and were sitting on the bed, she came out and sat with us. but then judy came to talk to us and stella sneaked around behind me and dove under the blankets again, staying there for at least another hour. oh, cat stories. i could tell them all day.
nnnnngwork. today at church we will be celebrating george's 50th year as organist there. 50 years! i cannot fathom this. so, musicians who have worked with him in the past and such will be performing as part of the service. and the choir will sing, of course. and then there's some function afterward. it's all good, he completely deserves the celebration. though he's the most modest person ever and cringes whenever people talk about this service. hee. but one of the best parts of today's service - no sermon! w00t!
you know, when i say i think there was a misogynist writer on angel, i mean it like that. one out of the many. because there are episodes like... er, the one i watched last night and i can't check the title because there's someone sleeping in my living room. the one where willow visits. yeah. there is much kick-ass-ness from the female folk in that one. but there's still this thing with cordelia and another evil pregnancy. and her working her wily woman ways on connor - getting him to stay with her because she's pregnant by him. oh, how completely original. i've never heard that in any male paranoia. ulch. and let's not talk about s5, k?
