nnng. however appealing it may sound, eating a bunch of bread products and falling asleep on the couch for 40 minutes is a bad idea. a very bad idea. i feel disgusting.

and, i fell asleep while watching an angel s4 episode. so i feel even worse. i don't know much about the writers of that show. which one is the total, fucking misogynist? ::seethes::

however. thursday and friday were fantastic. [livejournal.com profile] starbuckle recounts them well here. i had a great time but i seem to be a little exhausted. when i got home last night, [livejournal.com profile] powerfulkatrina and j were here - they're staying here while they go to a wedding nearby. we had breakfast this morning with them and claire and dan at haymarket. 'twas lovely.

while in town, i saw that there is a new place, rice n' easy, which serves up 21 flavors of rice pudding. and also, hot dogs (veggie and non). and that is all. i can't help but feel that that place is doomed to failure. rice pudding? i ask you.

i just ordered the lotrips zine. all of a sudden it occurred to me that it's the perfect travel slash. and the next time i travel, i'm sure i will be very glad for that insight.

ok. i'm writing this post really because i haven't been able to figure out what else to do with myself. the options are just too plentiful. will go try to figure that out now.

Rice N' Easy even has a couple of vegan options. Just vanilla and chocolate, though. They're... okay. Maybe if I had some toppings or something.

There's a rice pudding place in Soho - I think it might even be called the same thing. It's all bright white with spare curving lines and very hip light fixtures - looks all hipster trendy cool, but then you're like, "what? it's rice pudding!" Somehow it's managed to stay open for at least a year (i don't know how long it was around before I got here), but this is a city of 8 million people. Noho doesn't seem like it's crying out for something to fill that particular market niche. Is it in that doomed building on the corner by the train bridge? *g*

(hee! just realized I used "Noho" without even realizing how, right, it's a play on this here "Soho"!)

I also just discovered that these 8 million people can support an all-hot dog-joint in Chelsea, which offers dogs with dozens of toppings, and every one can be ordered in veggie. ::choirs of angels:: Now if they could just manage to bring that idea to the ball park, I'd be the happiest girl ever. ooh, I'll be in over Chelsea tomorrow! ::plans meal::

I wish I could have been with you Thurs and Friday! It sounds excellent!

And I need to order my zine too omg.

That is all bc now I need t ogo to bed for real.
