278 words of crossover-y remus with a first line from
jjtaylor.
Remus Lupin was waiting at the bus stop, his hands in the pockets of his Muggle jeans. A man walked up and stood beside him. Remus watched the wind blow the man’s dusty brown hair out of his face, revealing clear, slate-blue eyes.
“The bus isn’t coming for another half an hour,” the man said, his voice low and rough.
“I don’t mind waiting,” Remus answered, unnerved by the way the man had focused on him, his gaze unwavering.
“I know a better place to wait.” The man turned and walked into the park where the trees thickened.
Remus knew better than to follow. This sort of thing was dangerous and led to humiliation and worse.
He followed.
In the shade of the trees, the man turned to him, grabbed him firmly around the waist and kissed him, his tongue in Remus’ mouth before Remus had time to register what was happening. He tensed, about to push away but relaxed despite himself when the man’s strong hands kneaded at the muscles of his back.
Remus grasped the man’s forearms and let himself give in to the kiss, kiss back. He pressed forward into the man, closing his eyes and relishing the scrape of stubble against his chin.
When they broke apart to breath, Remus whispered, “I don’t even know your name.” And then felt stupid. Of course he didn’t. That was probably the point.
But the corners of the man’s mouth quirked upward, “Viggo,” he said. “And I hope you don’t mind. You looked like you needed that.”
“I did,” Remus said, knowing it was true as he said it. “I do.”
Viggo grinned and leaned forward again.
