i have a long list of fics i've read recently but because of my funk, i haven't feedbacked or recced or anything. and so, i think tonight or tomorrow, i will post a whole bunch of recs and declare my conscience clear. they're probably things everyone else has already read anyhow, but you never know. maybe i'll just throw two out there as a little preview:

T.T.T.H.T.O.T. by hackthis. i will never tire of this ron/neville storyline. i love the whole idea of ron with neville and the way zahra writes it is just as it should be.

bolt of blue by minervacat. billy/bean, on the other hand, doesn't tend to cross my mind ever. which is only part of why this feels so fresh. and hot.

phew! look! i did it! i made recs and i didn't die. good to know.

i had a great conversation with claire on my drive here. and we discussed how the kind of woman who would not be at all bothered by a man's inappropriate and invasive behavior would be a super powerful annihilator of bullshit. which is what we aspire to be. this is relevant to claire's life because she arrived at the place where she was to be homesitting for a few months for a man she barely knows only to find out that he had postponed his trip for three weeks. and expected her to just live there with him. and says things like, 'doesn't it bother your boyfriend that you're staying here with me?' ugh. creepy.

the best thing about elijah in this icon is his shiny forehead. ok, one of the best things, anyway.
