totally....I heard it on NPR this morning as well, something along the lines of disagreeing with Bush on gay marriage as freedom means for everyone regardless of sexual orientation...I also learned his daughter is a lesbian...interesting.

This article (http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20040824/ap_on_el_pr/cheney_gays_4) says he drew fire from conservative groups because was he expected to back Bush's gay marriage amendment ban. Instead he talked about how "freedom means freedom for everyone".

I was happily suprised by that statement.

yeah, it was even on the news in australia.

they made a big deal about his kid, i think she was watching him make the speech cos when he said my daughter is a lesbian they kept closing in on this woman who had huge eyes and was leaning out of her seat and you could almost hear her thoughts screaming say it!! so yes, i think it was her.

i was happy, and annoyed. cos really. i just wanna hate them all and be done with it.

also, bush and dick! how the fuck can any one not laugh at this?
