it's really exciting to be writing slash - even just drabbles - again. i've been so out of it for so long. yay to the boring job for that. since i started there, i've written fred/george, percy/oliver, remus/viggo, harry/ron, dean/seamus, hermione/ginny - that i've posted. and there's also some sirius/remus, dean/draco, and remus that i'm kind of eh about and so haven't posted. but that's like 0-60 in one two weeks of full time job. must be the inspiration i'm getting from you all.
omg, wouldn't it be a cool prize to take the winning textslash, whatever it is, and make it into a drabble?
i don't know if i'm bold enough to do that. definitely not if spongebob wins. :) but it still seems like a cool idea.
i should get to bed. i'm having that problem i get when my lady isn't here at home. going to bed just doesn't seem as great. and so i linger and stay up too late and make my self tired(er) and cranky(er).* and so i should off to bed.
*and omg, i'm already so cranky and i'm trying to keep it out of lj because you guys are the best and i love you and the textslash is keeping me going, man. but then i have pathetic moments when i decide no one likes what i write and i have to have really obvious ploys as above to try to get people to read my stuff. pathetic. i need to get more sleep. 5 1/2 hours a night leaves me raw and over-emotional. speaking of which, i overheard boss!guy tell a client today, 'emotions are bad.' seriously. he was trying to tell the guy to be level-headed about investing and not to get scared and sell too easily, but he actually said the sentence, 'emotions are bad.' i strongly dislike him.
